Analysis of the sources reveal that the dates come from different mammoths
In one case, a date is known to be invalid because the hide was soaked in glycerin. The YEC claimants still quoted the date
A review of the Dima mammoth reveals all the dates were consistent. The source of the young earth claims for the bad dates is unknown
